Williams Drilling Services Limited (WDS) was established in March 1999, the realization of the vision of Ralph “Bizzy’ Williams of Williams Industries Inc. (WII) and Roger Gooding of C.O. Williams Construction Limited (COW). In the beginning COW would dig drainage and sewage wells by hand. With WII’s involvement with Ionics and the requirement for water wells, WII and COW were prompted to look at new and innovative technology to revolutionize the speed and efficiency of well digging, from that point in time and into the future. And so it begun, WDS was formed to continue in the legacy of WII and COW of building a tradition of excellence. Once the decision was made and WDS was formed, we acquired our first rig and shortly thereafter started the contract to construct the supply wells for the Island’s first desalination plant at the Ionics/BWA project. We have continued to grow ever since. We do wells, well done. Our team is made up of experienced individuals, who are dedicated and innovative. No job is too small; from drilling or cleaning suck wells to constructing secant pile walls, digging foundations and footings, we do it all.
